The Full Moon in Gemini on December 4th/ 5th underlines a readiness for open communication, whether with self or others * * for this Full Moon Edition of Moon Lab we will be delving into the movement meditation known as Sufi whirling

Often attributed to the poet Rumi, whirling is a primordial practice that represents the planets, stars and constellations traveling around the sun, or in this case the human heart. The word for "heart" in Arabic (Qalb) means "to turn.." Through this practice we remember that the only constant in life is change and this turning practice helps us to transform and gather our various states into unitative consciousness

This Moon Lab will be held in a lovely space called Kollectiv in the LES located at 21 E 1st street NYC. You can book a sauna or other healing session before Moon Lab through @kollectivnyc instagram

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and socks. It is suggested not to eat for 1 hour before whirling practice
