About Moon Honey
Dave Preston and RachelA are not new to the Denver scene, but their cheeky, love-song driven duo has just bloomed and is steadily gaining fans. This brand new endeavor broke through after years of playing for and with a long list of other artists, bands, and players around the scene.
Both artists have had a litany of projects around Colorado and the world. Dave's guitar playing has shared stages with Jake Shimabukuro, Kelly Clarkson, The Samples, Freddy Jones Band, and that's just to name a few. Rachel has played in pop/rock acts like Rachel and the Kings, opening for Third Eye Blind, Chris Isaak and more.
This project has the same high goals, with a little different twist. It's a little folk, a little country, a little rock, all duet, and all original. After decades of songwriting for other artists and projects, Dave encouraged Rachel to write for herself and for their team again. So many songs came that they quickly formed the project and are in the midst of a whirlwind of recording, working with producers and studios and players, to create something that both Denver and Nashville share in common.
"It's about the songs. Well, and Dave's world-renowned guitar playing, but mostly the songs: and the jokes, the stories, and the time with audiences and fans who we love dearly. We'll see you soon."
