Best of California State Parks reveals fun roundups of the best parks for wildlife, history, family travel, and more, plus detailed hike descriptions marked with distance, duration, effort level, and trailheads—so park visitors can hit the trails with confidence.
Kayla Anderson is a freelance writer based in Northern California. She grew up in Redding, graduated with a degree in journalism from California State University-Chico, and lives in North Lake Tahoe. For the last 20 years, she has been writing about people, places, and products all around the Golden State and beyond.

The event will be held in the Sierra Arts Gallery in the historic Riverside Building in downtown Reno.
