Forest school - for adults! Each month we follow the seasons, allowing the woodland itself to shape our pace, our activities, and the themes we explore.
We will cook on the open fire, discover nature together and create art and crafts in the great outdoors whilst meeting and sharing outdoor experiences with others.
You’ll move at your own pace, with no pressure or expectations—just an open invitation to reconnect with yourself and the natural world around you.
£20 for 2 21/2 hours. Includes teas and coffees, snacks, resources and time at a beautiful, private location with toilet and outdoor tipi with log burner. 😃
First monthly session:
Saturday 30th May -
10 - 12:30pm
Session details:
Arrive 10 minutes before session starts for parking/ walking up to site.
Contact Louise on 07870495967 if any issues on the morning of event.
Dietary needs- please inform Louise of any allergies or dietary requirements as we will be cooking and eating light snacks every week. This week we are cooking bread.
Session 1 info:
1. Meet at the tipi - bring a cushion & blanket/yoga mat
2. Get to know the woods walk - ID tracker sheets and books/ bug pots for using.
3. Relax in the woods - hammocks, blankets/ chairs.
Draw using pencils/ charcoal / observe and be in the moment.
Note how you feel.
4 Carve at the fire- carve hazel or willow skewers for cooking with.
5 Cook at the fire - 🔥 Cook, eat, drink hot drinks and chat. This week we will cook Damper bread - bread twists over the fire. 🔥
5 . Reflection time and finish at 12:30pm
Check on weather conditions before arriving to inform yourself of what to wear for the session.
If the weather has an impact on our session (eg, high winds) we will make the decision to cancel with enough notice the day before and reschedule.
