About this Event
Welcome to the Free Monthly Women's Recovery Dinner! Join us for a night of delicious food, great company, and inspiring conversations at JPH at Ferry Hill. This event is designed to bring together women who are on a journey of recovery to share experiences, offer support, and build connections. Whether you're in recovery yourself or supporting a loved one, this dinner is a safe space for all. Come hungry and leave fulfilled, both in stomach and spirit.
Sharing a community meal offers significant mental health benefits by fostering a sense of connection, belonging, and support. It provides an opportunity for social interaction, which can reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, essential for emotional well-being. The act of gathering around food also promotes mindfulness and relaxation, allowing individuals to be present and engage in meaningful conversations. Furthermore, sharing a meal can strengthen community ties, boost self-esteem, and create a safe space for individuals to express themselves, all of which contribute to improved mental health and a sense of collective resilience.
This monthly offering is brought to you by a generous donation from the Cook Family Charitable Fund.
