Scott Harris spent 17 months, chasing 53 Raptors across 34 states—his version of a Raptor Big Year. RaptorQuest is about his adventures, misadventures, successes and failures. From -36 degree days, to ones over 100 degrees, to just getting on the bird just in time, to the frustrations of missing one by minutes. It’s about the birds—of course—but it’s also about the people he met, the things he learned and why he’s already working on his next adventure.Scott will be presenting to Fort Worth Audubon via zoom starting at 7PM but we'd love to have you join in person at 6:30 to enjoy some light refreshments and meet some new and old friends and perhaps take home a door prize.
Note - Camp Bowie Blvd leading onto Clifton St. and the parking lot of the UNTHSC Research & Education building where we meet was closed in September, so know you may need to enter via West 7th to Clifton to the parking lot.
