About this Event
Monthly Muse: A Writers Round
Monthly Muse returns to Edison House for another evening celebrating the creative pulse of Salt Lake City. This month, we step inside the world of local music, exploring what it truly takes to bring a song to life, from the first written word to the final live performance.
Through conversation, Q&A, and live performance, hear directly from three local creatives, Evan Bell, EJ Michels, and Bryson Jarrett, each offering their own perspective on the craft, the process, and what it means to create in this city.
EJ Michels brings a raw, cinematic approach to songwriting, shaped by personal storytelling and a career that spans national stages, millions of streams, and a recent run on NBC’s The Voice.
Bryson Jarrett represents a new wave of independent artists, producing and releasing his own work while betting everything on his music in 2026 with an ambitious year of releases.
Evan Bell, a familiar face at Edison House, is a rising pop star in training, creating music rooted in real life, capturing the highs, lows, and everything in between as he pursues both music and acting.
From writing to producing to performing, the full arc of a song, told by the people who made it.
This event will take place in the Speakeasy at Edison House.
Please note: Edison House is a 21+ venue. Valid government-issued IDs will be scanned upon arrival.
