Dimitri Benekos ran Cowesett Pizza in West Warwick for over 30 years. Then he put his own name on the door when he bought what used to be Don's Pizza in Warwick. When that happens, it's time to pay attention.We are going to do exactly that on May 21st from 5PM-9PM.
Dimitri's Pizzeria on Warwick Ave is exactly the kind of place we all love.
Bar seating. High tops for two. Tables for four. The layout is built for the way we do our best RI: The Pizza State meetups, wander over, grab a slice, pull up a stool, meet somebody new, move on to the next conversation.
The pizza is Rhode Island style. Crispy crust, a cheese blend people rave about, generous toppings. Super fresh. Dimitri also does a square pizza, because we love that too. 😁
His shop is currently sitting at number one on Yelp for pizza in Warwick. We will form our own opinions in May.
