It's time for our monthly Friends of Navigation Park event to help keep the park tidy and meet other park users over a cup of tea.All litter picking equipment is provided. Alongside our regular litter pick we also are trying to remove the majority of dock plants in the wildflower areas. This helps a wider diversity of species to thrive. If you feel up to a bit more physical activity, please bring a garden fork if you have one for digging up the long tap rooted docks!
We will have access to the 'bowling green' hut to brew up and have a well earned cupa or glass of squash. Everyone welcome to help! Meet near the 'Superbin' (which contains litter picking equipment) which is near the entrance to the park bowling green (not the LMRC bowling green!), adjacent to the play area. Refreshments will be in the bowling green hut/GRIP Adventure centre.
Accompanied children are welcome to take part.
