All invited! Meet at the flagpole in Peoples Park at 10am. Bring your own gloves if you can. All other picking equipment provided. One hour of litter picking and occasionally some Orchard maintenance.
Meeting point: the Green Flag flagpole at 10am. It should show up on the map (near where the path across the park intersects with the path going uphill near the flats, but the nearest postcode is for Arden Place, Luton, LU2 7YE).
Nearest free parking: People's Park (Bells Close) Car Park, opposite 43 Havelock Road, Luton, LU2 7PW. Maximum stay 2 hours.
Check the forecast and be prepared for cold/warm/wet weather, and have footwear suitable for muddy surfaces as appropriate. All equipment provided. We have work gloves if you need them, although we love it if you bring your own.
Sometimes we go for a post-pick cuppa at Lagoa Cafe, 17 High Town Road, Luton, LU2 0BW. All welcome!
