Join us for a SWAP SHOP at Grassroots Kava House with Kind Threads & IDEAS For Us Tampa Bay every first Tuesday of the month at Grassroots Kava House 7 pm - 9 pm 957 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. This event is held upstairs.
Please bring up to 20 pieces or less of gently used clothing. Clothing swaps are a great way to meet new friends and find new, fun threads, all while ditching fast fashion & extending the life cycle of the clothing that we already have on this planet. The swap shop is welcome to everyone, we just ask that if you shop that you also contribute.
This is part of an effort to reduce textile waste and to reduce overall consumption. Swap shops are important because they promote sustainable practices by encouraging the reuse of items. They foster community engagement and social connections through shared resources. Swap shops contribute to reducing waste and environmental impact by extending the lifecycle of goods. All unselected items will be donated to Casa's thrift store with proceeds helping women who experience Domestic Violence.
