3D Archery is back at Chinsegut on the first Saturday of every month!
Participants must bring their own archery equipment. Traditional, compound and atlatls are welcome, no crossbows or broadheads allowed (target tips only). No pre-registration is required, but participants must sign-in before participating at each event and complete liability waivers annually. The registration table will be located inside the conservation center. Participants have the opportunity to sight in their bow at the practice range before starting the course.
Registration and practice range are open from 8-9am. 3D archery starts at 9am with a safety briefing. There is a walk (just under 1/2 of a mile) to get down to the range along steep, unpaved, sometimes sandy trails. We highly recommend that participants wear closed-toe shoes. There will be 20 targets set-up this month. The range closes when all participants have completed the course or at 1pm, whichever comes first.
There's a suggested donation of $10 per participant 16 and up, $5 for those 15 and under. Maximum suggested donation per household is $25. Cash or check only please. These funds go right back into supporting programs at Chinsegut like this one.
*Chinsegut has one track chair available on a first come, first serve basis for people with mobility challenges. If you'd like to participate in this program and feel like you would benefit from the use of the chair, please contact us to request an accommodation.
