About this Event
Montgomery.AI is a free, one-day AI event hosted by Alabama State University that brings together students, educators, business leaders, and public-sector partners to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming learning, work, and public service. Designed for both beginners and experienced professionals, the event focuses on practical tools, real-world applications, and meaningful conversations that move beyond hype and toward impact.
Artificial intelligence is changing how we learn, work, and serve our communities—and Montgomery.AI is your opportunity to be part of that conversation. In collaboration with Montgomery Public Schools, the City of Montgomery, and local AI leaders, the event will convene up to 300 participants, including ASU faculty, staff, and students; Montgomery Public Schools students and career coaches; local business leaders; and city and county government representatives.
The event will spotlight practical, accessible AI tools—such as AI tools that support decision-making, creativity, learning, and research —and examine how they can influence education, workforce development, business, and public service. Through keynote talks, hands-on workshops, concurrent sessions, and a hackathon, participants will gain insight into both the promise and limitations of AI. Whether you are AI-curious or already working in the field, Montgomery.AI is designed to introduce AI tools and resources, inspire collaboration across sectors, and encourage ethical and inclusive AI adoption. Join us in person to connect, learn, and explore how intelligent systems are helping us reimagine what’s possible for Montgomery and beyond.
