• Wilcox Ave and Elmgate (Grass area outside of George Elder Community Center)

A walk audit is a guided community walk where participants evaluate current street conditions and share real-time observations about safety, accessibility, and design.

During this approximately 1-mile walk (45 minutes at a comfortable pace), participants will:

• Learn about the City of Monterey Park’s Vision Zero Plan and Complete Streets Plan
• Identify barriers to safe walking and biking
• Highlight areas needing safety improvements
• Discuss design challenges and opportunities
• Share lived experiences that can directly inform future street improvements
