About this Event
The County of Monterey Public Health Department will be hosting the Monterey County Youth Creating Change Red Carpet Film Screening on Thursday, May 7, 2026. This festive event will screen short films about mental health, substance use, and suicide prevention created by young people in our county. There is no cost to participate.
The ceremony details are as follows:

Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
5:30 to 6:00 pm: Red Carpet and Photos
6:00 to 7:30 pm: Film Screening and Awards
Location: Maya Cinemas, 153 Main Street, Salinas
Parking: Free
Tickets: Free
Attendees will be provided with vouchers for a food item, popcorn and a drink at the concession stand. Dinner will be served between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
