The annual Holiday Walk & Marketplace transforms Santa Monica’s Montana Avenue into an enchanted outdoor festival filled with local merchants, live music, roaming carolers, and special appearances by the Grinch, Cindy Lou, and Princess Elsa!
Make your way down Montana Avenue to visit our exclusive restaurant and retail partners hosting booths along the street, and don’t miss holiday parties hosted by local businesses — the perfect opportunity to shop local, discover unique gifts, and celebrate the season.

⛄️ COZY KIDS CORNER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TUMBLEWEED DAY CAMP
15TH – 16TH STREET
Enjoy a day of holiday fun with axe throwing and face painting (12 PM–4 PM), followed by festive crafts and other activities for our youngest attendees. *See schedule below.
12 PM – 4 PM:
- FREE Photos with Santa Sponsored by Framebridge – Capture a festive holiday memory with Santa in a beautifully themed photo booth.
- Holiday Train Rides – All aboard! Enjoy a whimsical ride on Montana Avenue, fun for kids and families alike.
3 PM - 7 PM:
- Don’t miss the Grinch and Cindy Lou, making their grand entrance as they travel from 7th to 16th Street, followed by meet and greets from 3 PM to 7 PM — and be sure to catch Princess Elsa joining the fun from 5 PM to 7 PM.
🎄 TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Join us at Whole Foods at 5:30 PM for the inaugural tree lighting and community acknowledgment, proudly led by Santa Monica Boy Scouts Troop 2 .
