MONSTERCON 2026Okay now, I’ve been getting quite a few inquiries about Monstercon last week or so. I was waiting on the contract from the hotel. Finally gave contract signed and down payment made. So we are confirmed for Monstercon.

There is no hotel room discount or block. Hotel accommodations are fend for yourself. We are going to try and sell 7 tables at $400 each. Of course I buy one of those tables. That leaves 6 more tables for you all to buy and reserve. As in previous years, the tables are sold for the lump amount. When you sign up to play at a table for the weekend, you will pay the table owner your portion of the table cost as you have worked it out with them. I am not involved in the transaction between table owner and player.
If you wish to buy a table, contact me and we will make an arrangement for payment. Table owner will schedule game or games for the weekend. We will have a pinned post of games and table owners, so you can see which table you want to join. Keep in mind this type of convention is designed for weekend long games. Please understand you are making a commitment to a group to play through the weekend, which can also involve long days. If you are unable to commit to the time frames but want to play, please discuss any time limitations with the table owner prior to joining the game.
I have not spoken to Heffernan BBQ about catering. Instead of them committing the truck we may do like we did last year and take pre-orders for sandwiches for one day or two. A new development has popped up at the hotel. They have applied for a liquor license and plan to have a bar in the lobby. Not sure if it will be open by August but the hotel is hopeful. So that’s a nice perk if and when it happens.
This is a no frills con focused on weekend long gaming. No flea market. No raffle. No t-shirts. You are welcome to bring games to sell but there is no table dedicated to flea market. We can do another virtual one of people are interested. That way you only have to bring what you’ve sold.
