This is a lovely steady, circular ride with varied terrain, stacks of lovely scenery, it does have gates, but they are horse friendly and our gate masters Tash & Tula will be your guide and they will be more than happy to open them for you.We meet at Hassop Station for this one at 10am, which is really easy parking and only £3.50 for up to 3 hours & not forgetting the great cafe there.
We head to the River Wye, which we dont cross, its totally optional to have a splash or a drink for the horses.
It's a steady ride with areas for trotting.
There is a small amount of road work.
The ride is roughly 1 - 1/2 hours depending on speed.
All horses & riders must be confident on road and on grassy tracks.
The Monsal Trail is a popular place for walkers etc, but mid week isn't that busy.
Our group size is four riders, plus the lead rider.
£35 per rider and all rides are refundable if we deem the weather to be unfit.
Solo & group riders welcome.
