Monoprint to Masterpiece: Seeing the Image Within - a workshop
Step into a relaxed, exploratory gallery studio experience where color, texture, and intuition lead the way.
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll begin by creating a series of layered monoprints using gelli plates, acrylic paint, and a variety of tools and textures. This part of the process is loose, playful, and freeing—no experience needed.
From there, you’ll choose from a curated selection of premade dry monoprints to learn how to transform them into a finished piece of artwork.
You’ll be guided through two simple and powerful approaches:
- painting imagery on top of your print
- painting around shapes to reveal the image within
This class is about learning how to see differently—to recognize possibility inside a surface and bring it to life.
You’ll leave with:
- a collection of your own monoprints
- one completed artwork ready to take home
- and a new way of approaching creativity with confidence and ease
