𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐓𝐃 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚, 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 & 𝐂𝐨-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐄𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬, is the official on-campus chapter of the global Hult Prize movement. The initiative brings together students from diverse disciplines to collaborate, innovate, and build impactful social startups through structured competition rounds, mentorship, and offline workshops, aligned with this year’s theme, “Unlimited,” while nurturing leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial mindset within the University of Dhaka community.The Hult Prize is a globally recognized student entrepreneurship competition organized by the Hult Foundation, challenging university students to develop innovative and sustainable social business ideas to address pressing global challenges. The journey begins with on-campus competitions and advances through global quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the Hult Global Finals.
At the University of Dhaka, this year’s Hult Prize program will be conducted through three comprehensive competition rounds, complemented by interactive learning sessions and hands-on guidance. These stages are strategically designed to support participants in refining their ideas, validating business models, and developing innovative, scalable, and socially impactful ventures.
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
Theme: Unlimited
Team Size: 2-4 members
Program Stage: First stage of the global Hult Prize competition
Eligibility: Cross-university teams are allowed (minimum one University of Dhaka student required)
𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐥 (𝐎𝐧-𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬):
Total Prize Pool: BDT 120,000
Champion: BDT 50,000
1st Runner-up: BDT 30,000
2nd Runner-up: BDT 20,000
Finalist Teams’ Incentives: BDT 20,000 (distributed among selected finalist teams)
In addition to cash prizes, champion team gain recognition and the opportunity to advance to the global stages of the Hult Prize competition.
