About this Event
This unique opportunity features interactive workshops led by visiting visual and performing artists from Mongolia, including specialists in throat singing and calligraphy. Local experts will provide insights into Mongolian geography and history, and participants will receive resources from the Stanford SPICE Mongolian Empire curriculum to bring these lessons to life in the classroom.

Funding avaialble for neighbor isalnd teacher travel and lodging. Meals provided (Friday evening and all day Saturday).
This K-12 teacher workshop is open to all primary and secondary school teachers on all Hawaiian islands, and includes lessons in curriculum development, hands-on cultural activities, and exchange with fellow teachers and community experts.
Developed in partnership between the East-West Center Arts Program and the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council, these workshops are designed to support, inspire, and equip Hawai'i’s teachers with globally-themed curriculum ideas, classroom skills, and community resources necessary for teacher and student success.
