Part of our Money Smart Series, learn how to spot business risks early and build a simple plan to protect your small business.
About this Event

Running a small business means dealing with uncertainty—surprise expenses, customer issues, supply problems, or even legal trouble—and this workshop shows you how to recognize those risks early and plan for them before they turn into costly problems.

Join us for a simple overview of what business risk is, where it comes from, and why managing it matters. Participants will learn how to recognize common risks and begin building the groundwork for a practical risk management plan that supports long-term business success.

Workshop objectives:

  • Identifying common risks associated with small businesses
  • Recognizing internal and external factors that affect business risk
  • Identifying situations that may cause risk
  • Spotting early warning signs of potential problems
  • Learning how to implement, monitor, and evaluate a risk management plan

About the Money Smart Series
The Money Smart Series offers financial workshops for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Instead of a traditional cohort program, participants can attend individual sessions based on their needs and schedule. Each workshop focuses on building financial knowledge and confidence to support smarter business decisions. The Money Smart Series is supported by Central State University Extension Campus.
