Part of our Money Smart Series: Discover how the right banking tools and financial strategies can help your small business grow and thrive.
About this Event

If you've ever opened a business account and wondered if you chose the right one, mixed personal and business expenses because it was easier, or hesitated to apply for a loan because you weren't sure you'd qualify—your banking setup may be holding you back.

This workshop helps close the gap between having a great business idea and having the financial systems to support it. We'll walk through the real-world tools—business accounts, payment systems, and financing options—that support daily operations and long-term growth. You'll leave with more clarity, more confidence, and a practical path toward financial stability.

Workshop objectives:

  • Break down essential banking services and how they support daily business operations and growth
  • Identify what you need from a bank and how to choose the right financial partner
  • Explore funding options—what's available, what fits, and what to be cautious of
  • Strengthen your understanding of credit, recordkeeping, and what it really takes to be loan-ready
  • Protect your business from fraud and financial scams

About the Money Smart Series
The Money Smart Series offers financial workshops for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Instead of a traditional cohort program, participants can attend individual sessions based on their needs and schedule. Each workshop focuses on building financial knowledge and confidence to support smarter business decisions. The Money Smart Series is supported by Central State University Extension Campus.
