Welcome to the Money & Power Literacy - Black Families Fun Day at Burton Chace Park! Get ready for a day filled with learning, laughter, and fun activities for the whole family. Join us on April 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM (Pacific Time) for an event designed to empower and educate our community.

Parking is $6. Give yourself time to find the community room (look for balloons).

Info: Life Chances Game - parents and children collaborate together to play in "life" circumstances game to see who "wins." This is a model for capitalism as a way to show children how some people have advantages that others don't.

Info: The children will be supervised while they create a compound matching their gifts/talents with the needs of the people while designing the their very own village. Building materials will be provided for the creation of their village.

Info: Parents gather to discuss the impacts of capitalism on their families and share tips & tricks to support our children's learning to be savvy consumers.
