Mar 16th: Contra Dance with the Seat Pant Flyers
With guest appearance from Woody Lane, caller of Contra, Squares and more, from Oregon, USA. His motto: show up, laugh, & dance.
Contra dancing is moderately aerobic and highly addictive. It’s a lively, social, swingy dance style from the USA. Done to simple walking steps, it features flowing movements, swings and twirls, and a chance to dance with everyone in the room.
Tickets: $7-16 at https://folktas.org/monday or at the door.
All dances taught.
No dancing experience or partner required.
