This week, we’re shaking things up! For a long time, Cathays Brass Band has been practicing on the other side of the club while we’ve been jamming—but now, it’s time to join forces!
Expect a one-of-a-kind night filled with fantastic music, friendly vibes, and creative expression. We’ll be mixing things up, performing some songs with the full brass band, and everyone is welcome to get involved!
🎤 Open Mic & Jam Session – The Usual Rules Apply:
✅ 3 songs / 15 minutes max per performer
✅ Let us know what you plan to play so we can bring in the brass!
So grab your instrument, warm up those vocal cords, or just come along to soak in the music—it’s going to be a special one!
Monday Open Mic Jam Event Details
When: Every Monday
Sign-up starts around 8:00 p.m.
Performances kick off at 8:30 p.m.
Where: A welcoming, cozy venue (bring your good energy!)
What to Expect
Open Mic & Jam Fun: Share your talent with a supportive audience. Whether you’re singing, playing an instrument, or performing original music, this night is for everyone.
Performance Time: Each performer will get at least 15 minutes to shine, depending on the number of participants.
Host Band: Stick around as the house band wraps up the night with a few tunes around 10:30 p.m.
Backline Equipment Provided: No need to lug your gear – amps and other essentials are ready for you.
Come early, grab a spot, and enjoy the evening with fellow music lovers. Don’t be shy – this is your chance to showcase your musical talent in a friendly and relaxed setting.
