Monday beginner pottery class (4 weeks)

Class Details:

Get your hands muddy and learn the basics of the pottery wheel in this beginner-friendly 4-week course! You’ll practice centering, pulling, and shaping clay on the wheel while creating functional + fun pieces to take home.

• Meets Mondays, 6:00–8:00 PM
• All clay, tools, and studio materials included
• Firing + glazing included for up to 3 pieces
• Additional pieces may be fired for $10 each

Class Flow:

• Weeks 1–3: Learn wheel-throwing techniques, practice shaping, and create multiple pieces.
• Week 4: Wrap up your final works and prepare them for firing.

After Class

• Your pieces will be fired and glazed in the dip color of your choice.
• Finished pottery will be ready for pick-up in the following weeks after your class ends.🥳

We do our best to accommodate make-up classes when possible, but due to full schedules they can’t always be guaranteed. If you miss a class, we’ll be sure to catch you up in the following class.

✨ A Note About Firing ✨

Clay has its own personality, and sometimes it surprises us! During the firing process, pieces can occasionally crack, warp, or break—it’s just part of the pottery journey. Even the most experienced potters lose a piece here and there.

At Loopy Dough, we’ll treat your work with care every step of the way, but we like to remind students that a little unpredictability is part of the magic of working with clay. 💫
