Monday 1pm-3pm Writing Group

KU Graduate Students can join one graduate writing group this Fall to stay on top of their research and writing projects!

This accountability writing group is open to all KU graduate students. Participants will meet on campus in Strong Hall every Monday of the Spring 2026 semester (excluding university holidays) from 1pm-3pm, beginning January 26th through May 12th.

Each meeting will begin with a 10-minute conversation to check in on your progress and to set writing goals for the session. Next, we'll spend about 1 hour and 40 minutes writing quietly together. Finally, we will check in at the end to discuss progress and set goals for the rest of the week.

Before the first meeting, you will receive an email from your facilitator with more information, including the meeting location!

NOTE: Please sign-up with your KU EMAIL. Please sign up for only ONE group per semester. If you sign up for more than one group we will remove you from each group.

Requirements: Attend each meeting, commit to focusing only on writing projects during the session, and set weekly writing goals.
