Set in 1961, Mona & Mimi explores a charged meeting between two women, Mona Best and Mimi Smith, linked by a band on the brink of fame. As they clash over music, morality, and motherhood, their differences reveal unexpected common ground in a story of hope, heartbreak, and acceptance.
