The meeting begins at 2.30pm, with Customer Service training to follow, at the Omni hotel. The meeting location within the Omni is the Dogwood Room, near the lower level valet. Each meeting gives volunteers a chance to take customer service training, get a feeling for what positions are available, outline perks and responsibilities of volunteers, and is a chance to meet with directors of departments!
MARTA and parking: Parking may be available in the Red deck for $15 (flat rate), or at many open lots and decks around the event, including a deck near the Embassy Suites/Ruths Chris/GameX place (usually $10), and across from the CNN Center/McCormick and Schmicks. The Omni parking rates are rather expensive, but the surrounding lots are much more affordable and plentiful. MARTA stops at the GWCC/Phillips Arena stop, follow signs to the GWCC, the Omni is across the courtyard from building A.
