Come join Aurora and Olivia as we first measure and mix ingredients to make vanilla buttercream and dye it our desired colors. Then, go through the steps with us on how to build and frost the cake, and then how to work with and paint fondant to create the creature’s features, such as the horns and ears.
For those making a unicorn, the student will learn how to pipe multiple colors at once and those making the dragon will learn how to add the dragon’s spikes.
Where: Menard Center Commercial Kitchen in Wasilla (behind the green turf)
When: Wednesday September 3, 11:30am-2pm OR a Mommy and Me session on Saturday September 6, 11:30am-2pm (Moms are always welcome to attend the Wednesday session)
Suggested Age: Recommended for 8 years old and up, if younger please bring a helper!
Cost: $130 – Direct bill vendor for Matsu Central, Twindly Bridge, IDEA, Raven, Cyberlynx, and FOCUS!
This class can be tied to Math, Art, Home Ec and Life Skills!
