Canopy flight and high-performance flocking have grown rapidly in popularity in recent years. This Crystal Coast Flocking Camp is designed to take canopy flocking to the next level by introducing dynamic movement to traditionally static canopy formations over the beautiful Crystal Coast.Rather than simply building formations and holding position, this camp will focus on dynamic lines, moving pieces, and advanced canopy flight techniques. The goal is to push the limits of canopy piloting while building on the skills and experience you already have under canopy, regardless of the canopy you fly.
This is an opportunity to learn, progress, and fly in an organized environment alongside experienced pilots while capturing the action with professional video.
Camp Format:
Slots are extremely limited to keep groups small and progression focused.
Groups:
• 6 slots for Float Group
• 6 slots for Flow Group
Participants will remain in their assigned groups throughout the camp to allow structured progression.
Training progression will include:
• Static canopy builds
• Fall rate matching
• Formation discipline
• Dynamic flocking lines
• Moving formations and pieces
Additional details:
• Professional videographer included
• Course fee: $555
• If coach slots are not covered, cost will be split among pilots
• Lift tickets are based on DZ pricing and may include up to $5 additional per jump to cover the videographer slot if applicable
Camp Schedule & Requirements:
Mandatory Safety Briefing:
🕣 Saturday morning at 8:30 AM
Before the briefing on the first day, all participants must:
• Complete the waiver
• Have gear inspected
• Put funds on account
⚠️ No cancellations or refunds.
Skill Requirements:
• Desired wing loading between 1.4 – 1.9 (96–136 sq ft) or 2.0 – 2.9 (<90 sq ft)
• Demonstrated disciplined heading control after deployment
• Strong awareness of other jumpers’ positions and build locations
• Ability to maintain a quadrant-specific slot
• Disciplined breakoff procedures
• Understanding of landing order and canopy separation
Safety and canopy discipline are essential for participating in this camp.
