## Details## **Momentum Club : Ideas → Action (No Homework)**
**Why this exists**
Have you ever read a self help book but never put its teaching into action? Or you wanted to make a change for the better in your life or community but never had the will to act?
Then this club is for you!!Momentum Club is a fast, low‑pressure hour where we trade **useful ideas** and leave with **one tiny Action** to try for 7 days. *(Inspired by Ben Franklin’s Junto—updated for 2025.)*
**How it works (recurring format)**
* Bring **one useful thing** (optional): a question, a quote/data point, or a tool/link you’ve tried.
* We read **short passages** from our favorite books/movies/websites aloud (optional).
* We discuss how each of us can have a positive impact on our communities.
* We finish with **one small action** you’ll test before next meetup.
**Events flow (75–90 min, low‑pressure)**
1. **Quick intros** (name + one thing you might improve this week) — 5 min
2. **share books or movies or articles that grabbed your attention this week** — 20–25 min
3. **Passages & questions** (host provides if you didn’t bring any) — 25–30 min
4. **Civic note** (Vancouver: one small, local improvement we can try) — 10 min
5. **Tiny experiment** (write one 7‑day test + optional buddy check‑in) — 10 min
6. **Wrap** — one sentence you’ll carry into the week
