Join us for Mom and Me: Watercolor Blooms, a joyful and heartwarming art experience hosted by Yellowbright Creative at the Perham Center for the Arts.In this special class, mothers and kids will spend a delightful morning creating together while exploring the beauty of watercolor painting. Each pair will begin by selecting fresh flowers, cutting and arranging their own custom bouquet in a vase provided for the class. This beautiful arrangement will become the inspiration and subject for your watercolor painting—and the bouquet goes home with you afterward!
Artist Dawn Duncan, owner of Yellowbright Creative, will guide participants through basic watercolor techniques, tips on supplies, and hands-on instruction as you transform your floral arrangement into a vibrant painting. This class is designed to be fun, relaxed, and encouraging, making it perfect for beginners as well as those who have some experience with watercolor.
Spend quality time together, celebrate creativity, and make something beautiful side by side. It’s the perfect way to honor moms and create lasting memories right before Mother’s Day.
Cost is $65 per pair (suggest age 10+)
