Mom & Me Painting Workshop

Join Single Mom Strong and Heart Craft Studio at Riverbend Parkway for a special Mom & Me event: a fun, creative painting workshop in the park designed for single mothers and their children! This is a wonderful way to spend quality time together while getting to know other single-parent families.

🎨 What’s Included:

• All painting supplies
• A guided painting workshop
• Aprons (but please dress for potential paint splashes!)
• Bottled water and snacks (chips, gummies, cookies)
• Shaded seating area

🚗 Parking Info:

• A free day-use pass is available for those without an annual park pass. Please see your event email reminder (sent 24 hours and 1 hour before the event) for details.
• Park in the small lot near the portapotty at the outdoor education site.
• Follow the white arrows through the park to find us.

🧢Other Information:

• It may be sunny—consider bringing a hat or sunscreen.
• There are no water fountains, but we’ll have bottled water and hand sanitizer available.
• A portapotty with a handwashing station will be nearby.

We’re removing the loneliness of single parenting! Every month, Single Mom Strong gives you 3-4 opportunities to connect with other local single mothers. One of those opportunities is our monthly Mom & Me event. This event allows single mothers and their children to spend quality time together, while getting to know other local single moms and their kids. Zoos, museums, sporting events and more are MORE FUN with the group, and we negotiate with organizations to ensure these events are affordable for all.

• We love capturing the joy and connection at our events! Please note that photos taken during this event may be used in Single Mom Strong’s promotional materials, social media, website, and other communications. (Collaborators may also use photos as part of their sponsorship).
