Month of Jazz: Anthony Stanco, a trumpet virtuoso from Southeast Michigan, draws from Detroit’s rich musical legacy, mentored by Marcus Belgrave and Rodney Whitaker. A seasoned performer, he leads his quintet and has toured internationally, performing at venues like the Java Jazz Festival and Cairo Jazz Club. Stanco served as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. State Department, sharing his music from South Africa to Indonesia.***
