We’re happy you’re here, and we’re excited to announce our upcoming MoFolk Listening Room! Join us Friday, April 24th at Bakeshop to celebrate two dedicated songwriters and hear their stories.
We’re continuing to welcome touring artists making their way up the West Coast. Modesto’s music scene thrives in the moments where local community and traveling artists meet, bringing visibility, connection, and a deeper sense of what’s possible for our creative city.
This next installment features a powerful voice from both coasts, alongside homegrown talent we’re excited to support.
Peter Wise (NYC / Los Angeles)
Peter Wise is a songwriter and producer whose music lives in the tension between vulnerability and resilience. With a voice that carries both warmth and grit, he crafts songs for the sensitive heart navigating a hardened world. Drawing from 70’s rock and folk, blues, modern soul, and Americana, Wise has built a sound that is both introspective and commanding.
Noah Wilson (Oakdale, CA)
Fresh off the release of his latest album Hello, California, Noah Wilson continues to carve out a space as a thoughtful and grounded songwriter from the Central Valley. His work reflects a deep sense of place and personal storytelling, capturing the nuances of everyday life with honesty. With a growing presence in the local scene, Wilson brings a steady, heartfelt energy that resonates with Central Valley culture and sentiment.
Bring a music-loving friend and settle in for a night of original stories and songs.
