About MoFest – Celebrating the Life & Music of Steven Mo Morris
MoFest lands on Saturday 4th July 2026 at George Street Working Men’s Club, Hucknall, bringing together rock fans, friends and the local community for one unforgettable night of live music — all in celebration of the life and legacy of Steven “Mo / Mowgli” Morris, taken far too soon in 2025.
This is more than just a gig. MoFest is a heartfelt celebration of friendship, passion and the power of music, filled with big riffs, loud anthems and shared memories — the kind of night Steven would have loved.
Headlining the night are Danny Wildheart & The UK Reprobates, led by rock legend Danny “Wildheart” McCormack, best known as bassist and vocalist with iconic British rock band The Wildhearts. Expect high-energy, hook-laden punk rock, raw attitude and a lifetime of road-hardened experience coming together for a blistering live set.
Joining them are Hucknall’s own Pariahonfire, a band deeply rooted in the local scene. Formed over 20 years ago, the band has reunited to bring their distinctive sound back to the stage, sharing a genuine connection with Steven, who once jammed with them during his own musical journey.
The night will also feature special guests, adding even more firepower to an already stacked bill.
MoFest is proudly brought to you by Shock & Awe Music Promotion, marking the return of one of the region’s most passionate live-music promoters after nearly two decades — reigniting the spirit of a buzzing local rock scene with a truly meaningful event.
All profits from the night will be donated to the Air Ambulance service and Brake, helping turn an incredible night of music into something that makes a real difference.
