About this Event
Who is this training for?
It is for anyone who wants to complete the Scout Association Mandatory Ongoing Learning First Aid Training. This is the full module 10 / YL module K and consists of face to face theory & practical sessions. It covers modules 10a Theory & 10b Practical and gives full validation of the Scout Association Mandatory Ongoing Learning for First Aid, which is valid for 3 years.
Booking for Adults
- You will need to have your membership number to hand.
- Order confirmation and event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter
Booking for Young Leaders
- Under the booking section headed "Contact Information" - enter the parent/carers name and email address.
- Under Ticket 1: - Enter the name and details of the Young Leader attending the course.
- This process ensures relevant safeguarding measures are met as all of the emails will be addressed to the parent/carer and the presenters will know the name of the attendee
What happens once you have booked
- You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation (containing all these details and precisely what you have booked).
- If you need to amend details or cancel the booking you can do so using the "view and manage your order online" link in your confirmation e-mail.
- An automatic e-mail will be sent as a reminder 48 hours before the course is due to start.
On the day
- The times stated are the times the course module will start, so please aim to arrive 15 minutes in advance so that you have time to register.
- Hot drinks will be available, but as this is an all day course you will need to bring your own packed lunch.
- You do not need to wear uniform or bring your confirmation e-mail / ticket with you.
- A notepad and pen will be useful.
After the course
Your record on Compass will be updated by the County Training Team to show that you have completed this course.
