Father Christmas' Grotto
We are delighted to announce Father Christmas is managing to squeeze in a visit to Nancledra's Winterfest on Saturday 30th November..And we would like to invite all children, big & small, good and naughty(ish!) to join us in helping him get ready for Christmas!
If you have joined him in the grotto at our school before, you will know him and his elves like to visit in style!
With live music from local bands, singers and choirs, Delicious hot food from our BBQ, Mulled Wine, Hot Chocolate's and a festive licensed bar, Christmas games, a Christmas movie room...even a visit from Frozen's Olaf...you and your children...and grandparents, and aunties and uncles...and neighbours...and friends will have all the ingredients for a fun filled time! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. So please, spread the word far and wide. Father Christmas and his Elves can’t wait to see you all!
Most Sessions (unless otherwise stated) run for one hour. Starting with writing letters to Father Christmas, and decorating Christmas cookies with the elves, then to the grotto to hear a Christmas story, meet the big man himself and receive a gift🎁
Sessions are run in groups and are planned as age appropriate. Siblings are welcome to come together, but please be aware of the AGE RECOMMENDATIONS for each slot and understand that later groups may be a bit boisterous for younger children and vice versa.
2pm - Pre-schoolers /0-4yrs (Parents to accompany) A quieter 30 Mins Grotto Visit & Gift only (no elf station) ***
2:30pm - RECOMMENDED AGE 3-5yrs ***
3:15pm - RECOMMENDED AGE 5-7yrs
4pm - RECOMMENDED AGE 5-7yrs
4:45pm - RECOMMENDED AGE 7-10yrs
7pm - 11 yrs plus. - 30mins Grotto visit (that tends to get a bit chaotic!) & Gift only (no elf station) £5
***If your child is older, but struggles with louder, more excitble situations, then they are welcome to join these sessions, but please be aware, content is aimed at younger children.
