MODULA III - Modular Night by HALOSAUR with TRISMO & YAMANBEY @ Gaswerk Music ConcertsOn October 3rd, the Modular Night (by Halosaur) will take place for the third time as part of the Gaswerk Music Concerts-Series – a special event that will captivate lovers of experimental electronic music.
The evening will be divided into two exciting parts: first, three exceptional artists – TRISMO, YAMANBEY, and HALOSAUR – will each present their individual solo performances, crafted entirely with modular synthesizers. These sound sculptures offer a fascinating journey through electronic soundscapes, where each artist unfolds their own creative vision
In the second part of the night, the audience will experience a unique collective performance. All artists will come together to celebrate the magic of modular synthesizers in an improvised collaboration.
MODULA at the Gaswerk Music Concerts-Series is more than just a concert – it is an immersive experience that will delight both music lovers and modular enthusiasts alike.

TRISMO
Trismo has a primarily acoustic and instrumental background. In addition to classical cello, she later discovered her passion for English folk guitar. It wasn't until later that she began to merge these elements and experiment with modular synthesizers. This gave rise to soundscapes that are allowed to exist freely and without limitation in real time.

YAMANBEY
Driven by a failure to create repeatable sets that are fun to play, Yamanbey embraces the freedom of improvisation. What began as frustration with preordained performances evolved into a practice rooted in spontaneity and exploration. With a modular setup at the core, combined with the clean slate of a sequencer, each performance unfolds in and of itself.
Instead of chasing polished repetition, yamanbey leans into chance, layering textures, rhythms, and patterns that shift in real time. The result is music that is alive in the moment — mostly raw, always fleeting. The absence of a fixed path makes space for surprise, risk, and discovery, both for the performer and the audience.
