Modern Slavery / Human Trafficking

Learning outcomes of this session are:


  • Understand the different forms of slavery / trafficking under Modern Slavery Act 2015 – the legal framework
  • Understand how victims become involved in slavery
  • Identify locations and signs that indicate modern slavery
  • Understand the referral process – National Referral Mechanism (NRM) & Duty to Notify Home Office
