Aims & Objectives:
Aims
The course provides attendees with information on how to assess patients to optimise the success of treatment and optimise the functional and aesthetic outcome using modern restorative techniques. It will also provide an opportunity to obtain hands on experience in building up of anterior teeth to optimise the aesthetics using layering technique. This course will also include a practical session demonstrating the use of flowable Bulkfil composites and simplified method of cusps build ups to improve your technique and confidence in practice.
Objectives
1. Discuss clinical assessment of the anterior teeth and suitable management strategies
2. Have an update on the development of resin composites and modern bonding and polishing systems
3. To demonstrate how to produce successful composite build ups to optimise the shape and aesthetics of anterior teeth
4. Discuss finishing and polishing techniques of composite restorations
5. To demonstrate how to produce posterior composites using flowable Bulkfil composites and using simplified method of cusps build ups to produce the correct anatomy.

Dr Asmaa Al-Taie
BDS, MSc, MFDS RCS(Ed), PhD, MPros RCS(Ed), FDS (Rest. Dent) RCS(Ed)
Dr Al-Taie is a Clinical Lecturer/Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at School of Dentistry, University of Leeds, UK. She completed her MSc with distinction and PhD in field of resin composite materials at Leeds. Dr Al-Taie completed 5 years specialist training programme at the Leeds Dental Institute was awarded the Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry and Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was also awarded the Tyson Medal from RCSEd. Her research interests are in the field of dental materials, resin composites, adhesion, light curing and amalgam alternatives as well as clinical solutions in Prosthodontics with emphasis on Digital Dentistry. She has an interest in rehabilitating tooth surface loss patients with direct resin composites and all aspects of fixed and removable prosthodontics. She has published in the fields of dental composites, removable prosthodontics, endodontics and the rehabilitation of oral cancer patients and has lectured at various national and international meetings and conferences.
Mr Jaymit Patel

Consultant Restorative Dentistry, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust
Mr Patel is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Specialist in Prosthodontics. He leads the Prosthodontics and Oncology services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, and has a research interest in digital dentistry, materials science and quality of life. He provides post-graduate education on fixed and removable prosthodontics, tooth wear, aesthetic dentistry and implant dentistry.

Customer Cancellations and Course Transfer Requests
A course cancellation request or a request to transfer to another course date, must be emailed to COLTENE at [email protected].
- Course Transfer Requests
1. Email received no later than 6 working day s prior to a course date
• You will be offered a new course date where there are spaces available and at no extra cost.
• If no suitable course date can be found and you choose to cancel your course, you will be offered a full refund minus the Eventbrite booking fee; that cost will be confirmed in your refund confirmation.
2. Email received within 6 working days of a course date
• If we are able to fill your vacant space, you will be offered a new course date where there are spaces available and at no extra cost.
• If we are unable to fill your vacant space or no suitable course date can be found, your course fee will be retained in full.
You are allowed to transfer your course date on two occasions only, except where agreed by COLTENE, otherwise the cancellation terms, below, will apply.

• On the rare occasion that a course has to be cancelled for any reason, you will be offered an alternative course date.
• If no suitable course date can be found, you will be offered a full refund.
• Please note that COLTENE will not be held liable for any accommodation costs, travel costs or any other loss incurred should an event be cancelled.
