Join Giuseppe Gallina for an illustrated talk on part of the history of Modena and Ferrara, two lesser-known but nevertheless stunning cities of Italy. Giuseppe will show some of the important, impressive and involving the art of these two cities. He will briefly introduce the historical development of Italy from the fall of the Western Roman Empire and will describe how Western art started and its consequences.
This event will be held at the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium on the corner of Kitchener and Wellesley St, and online via Zoom.
