Cody has garnered a number of 1st place wins at fiddle contests throughout centralAppalachia and has placed first alongside several bands in the most prestigious bands contests around the country. In 2015, he performed with Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys at the Grand Ole Opry. Cody has a passion for carrying on Appalachian music and works to establish weekly after school music education programs for youth through the Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) organization.
