Dallas' only live, interactive, movie mocking comedy show is headed back to the Texas Theatre for the holidays! And they are bringing one of the weirdest holiday movies of all time. "Jack Frost" stars Michael Keaton as a dad who dies right before Christmas (we swear it's a family movie) and comes back to life as a snowman. Except this snowman walks and talks like an Eldritch horror created for a Rankin/Bass television Christmas special. Critics even called it "just cheerful and bogus enough to keep children reasonably entertained."
That means it's perfect for the Mocky Horror Picture Show! Comedians Liz Barksdale, Danny Gallagher and Albie Robles make fun of a movie while you watch it in the theater but they also like the audience to join in the mockery! That's why they write special jokes and prompts for the audience to follow so they can make fun of the movie with them.
They even give you a special bag of props to use during the movie and this time, we'll have a snowball fight right in the middle of the movie. And because it's the holidays, one of the bags will even have a $50 gift card!
Join the Mocky Horror Picture Show at the Texas Theatre at 7 pm on Sunday, December 29th for a special holiday mockery of "Jack Frost!" Get your tickets now at thetexastheatre.com!
How it Goes:
We take bad cult films and riff on them in a movie theater. Plus audience prompts on screen so YOU can yell lines and throw stuff at the screen with us!
