Gather around the Library hearth to share spooky stories for the holidays in the Victorian tradition. This is an open storytelling event. Participants are invited to share an original story or to read a favorite spooky story aloud. Warm drinks will be provided.Meet before the Library closes at 4:00 pm or you’ll be locked out! We’ll sit around the fireplace after the lights go out for mocktails and spooky stories! It’s a free after-hours lock-in for adults!
In Victorian England, it was common to share ghost stories around the time of the winter solstice. Have a favorite ghost story? Bring it with you, and we’ll have opportunities for audience members to read or share one of their very own.
