This 2-day intensive workshop introduces participants to the art of filmmaking using smartphones. From storytelling and framing to shooting techniques and editing, students will gain hands-on experience in creating compelling visual content. The workshop focuses on practical learning, enabling participants to produce their own short film (Fiction/ Non-Fiction) by the end of the program. Ideal for beginners and aspiring creators looking to explore filmmaking in a simple yet powerful way.

About the Facilitator
Shubham Paul is a cinematographer, photographer, and media educator with over a decade of teaching experience. Currently working as a freelance photographer and cinematographer, he is deeply passionate about visual storytelling, with the camera at the heart of his creative journey.
He serves as a visiting faculty member at iLEAD and Aliah University, and has conducted workshops and sessions across reputed institutions including The Heritage College Kolkata, NIFT Chennai, and The Neotia University. He is also associated with organizations like BILMS, Bichitra Pathshala, and Point of View Mumbai as a workshop facilitator.
Shubham has been a freelance photojournalist with The Telegraph since 2013 and has worked with Film Heritage Foundation at major events like the Kolkata International Film Festival and Jio Filmfare Awards East. His work has earned international recognition, including features and awards from National Geographic, along with multiple accolades in cinematography and photography.
