Moab: The Center of the Uranium World with Tom Zoellner

On March 25, 6:30 pm at Star Hall, join the Moab Museum in welcoming author Tom Zoellner as he presents Moab: The Center of the Uranium World. Following the 1952 discovery of a massive uranium deposit south of Moab, the town skyrocketed to global import and attention. The first in a series of programs in conjunction with our newest exhibition, U92: Moab’s Uranium Legacy, Zoellner will discuss how Moab’s uranium boom shaped our town, and the nation, for better or worse. We are proud to present this program in collaboration with the Grand County Public Library.
