About Our Club: We are the third LGBTQIA+-focused Rotary club in the United States and the fifth worldwide. Unlike other Rotary clubs, we have a unique focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ Community in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, specifically homeless youth. Our approach involves providing service project opportunities for our Members and financial support to our partner organizations that serve Homeless Youth
Speaker Info: Briana Colton has three main passions: 1) Art therapy and using the creative process to help clients achieve insight and facilitate change in their own lives, 2) Serving others through individual and community-based healing, whether individual therapy sessions or community-based workshops and trainings – she loves connecting with others and promoting socially-oriented healing; 3) Reducing the stigma against mental health by normalizing the therapeutic process and advocating for great access through outreach and legislation.
